Conditioning needs.
A proper air conditioning
repair takes many procedures to be performed
correctly to have the air conditioning system last and
stand the test of time. Below are just a few procedures
needed to have a quality installation:
a.) The voltage must be checked at the
circuit breaker all the way to the relay's on the air
conditioning system.
b.) The Freon
level must be checked using the "super-heat" or
"sub-cooling" method. If there is too much Freon in the
air conditioning system, liquid flood back to the
compressor will cause pre-mature compressor failure. If
there is too little Freon in the air conditioning
system, a reduced efficiency will occur and the
compressor may over heat.
c.) The air
conditioning unit must be level and clean.
d.) The air
conditioning coil and blower must be clean or a
premature compressor failure will occur.
e.) The air filter in
the furnace or in a wall or ceiling must be installed
and kept clean at all times.
f.) All of the
electrical connections must be tight and the proper
breaker size, fuse-box size, wire size, and
fuse size must be used.
g .) A matching
air conditioning coil must be used.
h.) The proper
C.F.M., or Cubic Feet per Minute fan speed on the blower
must be set.
All of these
procedures will help to keep your new air conditioning
system running at peak performance and give you years of
trouble-free comfort.
